Lindsay Wellman, MS, RD, oversees the clinical nutrition program for Sitrin NeuroCare, where she utilizes patient-centered care, evidence-based research, and an individualized approach to create nutrition care plans for each resident.

Wellman assesses each resident upon admission, with their goals and food preferences in mind, to design and implement nutrition interventions based on each resident’s unique needs. She actively monitors weight trends and intake patterns, and works alongside occupational therapy and speech therapy to maintain independence with self-feeding, and safe swallowing at meal times.

Wellman earned her Bachelor of Science degree and Master of Science degree in Human Nutrition and Dietetics from the University of Maine, and is an active member of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics. Prior to Sitrin, she worked with inpatient and outpatient veterans at a VA facility in the Boston area.
