Kelly Mangione, MS, CCC-SLP, Speech-Language Pathologist at the Sitrin Health Care Center, utilizes speech therapy to help residents with Huntington’s Disease and ALS maintain communication, cognition, and swallowing.

Mangione’s interest in working with residents with neurological disorders began at the start of her career, and since then, she has helped many individuals with Huntington’s Disease and ALS in an outpatient setting.

As Sitrin NeuroCare’s primary Speech-Language Pathologist, Mangione assesses and treats residents having difficulty with speech, language, cognition, voice, social skills, augmentative/alternative communication, and/or swallowing functioning.

She earned both a Bachelor of Science degree and Master of Science degree in Communication Sciences & Disorders from The College of Saint Rose. Certified as a Speech-Language Pathologist by New York State, Mangione also holds a Certificate of Clinical Competency from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
